Bybit is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain trading risk backend systems in Abu Dhabi. You will own risk monitoring, alerting, and data services, ensuring reliable real-time data processing and data consistency across platforms.

The role requires strong backend fundamentals, practical Go experience (or readiness to work primarily in Go with C++/Java background), and collaboration with Risk and Data Platform teams to deliver high-impact, cross-functional projects.

• Strong backend engineering fundamentals and a solid understanding of distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go, or strong experience in C++ / Java with willingness to work primarily in Go.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, databases, caching, concurrency, and data consistency.
• Strong problem-solving, system design, project ownership, and production troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time data processing or data infrastructure, such as CDC / Binlog, Flink, Doris, or ClickHouse.
• Experience designing and building large-scale, high-throughput, or low-latency systems.
• Experience in Trading, Risk, Asset, Market Data, Clearing / Settlement, or related financial systems.
