Bybit is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain trading risk systems in a fast-paced, global environment in Abu Dhabi. You will own real-time data pipelines, ensure data consistency, and work closely with Risk and Data Platform teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Go, or strong experience in C++ / Java with willingness to work primarily in Go.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, databases, caching, concurrency, and data consistency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for Trading Risk, including risk monitoring, alerting, data services, and risk platform capabilities.
• Build and optimize real-time data processing pipelines, with a strong focus on system reliability, performance, observability, and data consistency.
• Independently own projects from technical design and development through integration, rollout, and production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Risk, Data Platform, and other engineering teams to deliver cross-functional projects.
• Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvements in engineering quality and development efficiency.

Proficiency in Go, or strong experience in C++ / Java with willingness to work primarily in Go.

Hands-on experience with Kafka, databases, caching, concurrency, and data consistency.

Strong problem-solving, system design, project ownership, and production troubleshooting skills.

Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with real-time data processing or data infrastructure, such as CDC / Binlog, Flink, Doris, or ClickHouse.

Experience designing and building large-scale, high-throughput, or low-latency systems.

Experience in Trading, Risk, Asset, Market Data, Clearing / Settlement, or related financial systems.
