Job summary

Prypco is seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend Engineer in Dubai to lead the design and scaling of robust backend services. You will own architecture, mentoring, and delivery across cross-functional teams, with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalable cloud-native solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in C#, .NET, Azure Cloud, and Azure DevOps, with a proactive, ownership-driven approach in a dynamic environment in the United Arab Emirates.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with C# and .NET backend systems.
• Proven expertise in Azure cloud services and DevOps practices.
• Experience with microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable backend systems using C# and .NET.
• Lead SOA and microservices design discussions and implement best practices.
• Drive evolution of the platform using modern technologies for scalable infrastructure.
• Ensure high quality unit/integration tests where required.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues with strong debugging skills.
• Optimize performance through observability tooling and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers across teams.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to agile processes and drive continuous improvement in development methodologies.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the technical stack.
• Contribute to the technical strategy and roadmap of backend services.
