Job summary

9E Global in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Project Manager/Engineer to lead a portfolio of projects and liaise with clients, architects and authorities. Qualification as Graduate Engineer in Electrical Engineering is required, with 13+ years in the field and Chartered status preferred.

Experience in the Middle East is highly valued. The role encompasses leading multidisciplinary teams, delivering client solutions, supporting proposals and fee negotiations, and ensuring QA/HSE

• Qualified as Graduate Engineer in Electrical Engineering.
• Chartered Engineering will be an added advantage.
• Have a proven record as a Project Engineer on a number of projects.
• Experience in Middle East projects will be highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of projects as Project Manager, reporting to an Associate Director or Director.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver client solutions.
• Be commercially aware and proactive in managing project performance.
• Present to clients, prepare and contribute to project proposals, and support fee negotiations.
• Plan and manage project resources, construct project teams, and manage timelines and deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, design teams, contractors, and authorities.
• Ensure QA policies, HSE and regulatory requirements are met.
• Support leadership in managing teams and projects, mentoring junior engineers and designers.
• Ensure alignment with design standards and project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Understand procurement routes, risk assessment, and project delivery strategies.

• Responsible for managing a portfolio of projects as Project Manager, reporting to an Associate Director or Director. On complex projects, may act as the primary client contact under senior supervision.
• Be able to lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver client solutions.
• Be commercially aware and proactive in managing project performance.
• Be experienced and competent in: Presenting to clients, Preparing and contributing to project proposals, Supporting fee negotiations and identifying opportunities for additional services, Planning and managing project resources, Constructing project teams (internal and external), Managing project timelines and deliverables

• Report any QHSE incidentsimmediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
• Abide Client/Contractor QHSErequirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
