Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Dubai is seeking a qualified professional for a construction supervision role. A Diploma or Degree in Electrical/building services Engineering.

Minimum 10years of experience in construction supervision witha consultancy.

Business Development

Develop a network of contacts on each contract. Concentrate on developing a unified commitment of excellence in dealing with site and design team colleagues.

ProjectRole
  • Review and familiarize with the project contract documents, including drawings, specifications, and relevant health and safety requirements, along with any subsequent revisions or updates.
  • Monitor the Contractor’s works to ensure compliance with the project specifications and contract requirements through site observations, measurements, inspections, and testing, while tracking the progress of quality assurance activities.
  • Maintain daily records of the Contractor’s deployed manpower, plant, and equipment on site.
  • Carry out inspections and site supervision activities as directed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Senior Engineer.
  • Record and document site activities within the assigned inspection areas, including the Contractor’s personnel, equipment used, nature and location of works, reasons for activities, and the construction methods adopted.
  • Monitor the delivery of construction materials and report accordingly, ensuring that materials used on site comply with project requirements.
  • Implement and follow all site instructions issued by the Engineer and ensure adherence to the established quality management procedures.
  • Verify that the executed works comply with the specified quality standards, performance requirements, and applicable codes through regular inspections.
  • Witness and inspect the testing and commissioning works as per Project specification

  • Contribute to the developmentof company procedures by taking an active role in task groups.
  • Attend team meetings and playan active role in the development of procedures within your team.
  • Review and comment on companyprocedures using the feedback system.
  • Applying policies relating tohealth & safety, quality and training
  • Review and comment ondeliverables produced by Engineers & Technicians at key stages through aproject.
  • Demonstrates all roundtechnical competence.
  • Have knowledge of conceptdesign, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurementroutes, risk assessment and claim assessment.
  • Have knowledge of analyticalconcepts.
  • Should be responsible forQuality Management (QA) for their team.
  • Have knowledge of our delivery in CAD standards and3D working.
QHSE Responsibilities
  • Understand, implement andfollow 9E QHSE policies.
  • Implement and coordinate QHSEprocedures in your workplace.
  • Comply with local regulatoryauthority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
  • Report any QHSE incidentsimmediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
  • Abide Client/Contractor QHSErequirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
