Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of jobs as Project Manager in conjunction with a project director or Associate Director on major/complex projects.
• Be able to motivate and lead professional teams to deliver client solutions.
• Present to clients, prepare client/project proposals for agreement with a Director, negotiate fee proposals where possible.
• Liaise with client/design team/contractor/authorities and ensure QA & HSE compliance.
• Hold regular team meetings; manage day-to-day work, resources, and team profitability.
• Contribute to strategic direction of the business and development of company procedures.

Job description

ProjectRole

• Responsible for managing all aspects of a portfolio of jobs as Project Manager in conjunction with a project director or Associate Director on major/complex projects could take the role of Project Engineer.
• Such projects could be multi-disciplinary but will generally be single discipline
• Be able to motivate and lead professional teams to deliver client solutions.
• Be commercially astute.
• Be experienced and competent at: Presenting to clients, Preparing client/project proposals for agreement with a Director, Negotiating fee proposals and requesting additional fees where possible, Constructing project teams from internal and external resources, Procuring project resources, Planning projects
• Liaising with client/design team/contractor/authorities.
• Ensuring QA policy, HSE requirements are satisfied.

• Hold regular team meetings.
• Be responsible for leading a team of engineers in conjunction with another associate involving: Motivate team, Training and developing, Managing day to day work, Team profitability, Resource planning and management, Developing and guiding engineers and design team, Applying policies relating to health & safety quality and training, Undertake six monthly performance reviews for their team
• Have an understanding of our Business plan, mission statement and key challenges.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and play a key role in the development of the company procedures and by an active role in task groups.
• Review and comment on deliverables produced by the team on a regular basis.
• Demonstrates all round technical competence.
• Have a good knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment.
• Prepare drawings, calculations & models. Review documents prepared by subordinates.
• Have a detailed knowledge of analytical concepts.
• Have a detailed knowledge of our delivery in CAD standards and 3D working.

QHSE Responsibilities

• Understand, implement andfollow 9E QHSE policies.
• Implement and coordinate QHSEprocedures in your workplace.
• Comply with local regulatoryauthority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
• Report any QHSE incidentsimmediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
• Abide Client/Contractor QHSErequirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
