Job summary
Facade Today in Abu Dhabi seeks a highly experienced Civil/Architectural Inspector with strong expertise in architectural finishes and inspections, particularly within consultancy and post-contract supervision environments.
The role requires reviewing shop drawings, supervising finishing works on site, coordinating with MEP and structural teams, and maintaining detailed records.
Candidates must have UAE experience and be available in UAE to support on-site projects.
Qualifications
- Significant exposure to architectural inspections and high-quality finishing works.
- Experience with engineering consultancy and post-contract supervision in UAE.
- Strong ability to review and inspect architectural works against drawings/specs.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural inspections focusing on finishing quality and compliance.
- Review Inspection Requests (IRs) and approve/reject promptly.
- Compare shop drawings to contract drawings and local/regulatory standards.
- Monitor on-site finishing activities ensuring high workmanship.
- Prepare snagging lists, surveillance reports, NCRs for deficiencies.
- Coordinate finishes with ME P, structural disciplines.
- Maintain site records and photographic documentation.
- Provide technical guidance on architectural works and finishing challenges.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are followed.
