Job summary

RSP Architects Planners & Engineers (Pte) Ltd is seeking a Senior Interior Design Inspector (site-based) to rigorously monitor interior design and fit-out works in Abu Dhabi, ensuring alignment with approved drawings, specs, materials, and design intent.

The role requires hands-on UAE project experience, a keen eye for quality finishes such as joinery, marble, tiling and ceilings, and collaboration with project teams to resolve issues during snagging, de-snags and final handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections of interior design and fit-out works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specs, and design intent.
• Inspect finishes such as joinery, marble, tiling, ceilings, and wall finishes for quality and adherence to samples and approved prototypes.
• Review shop drawings, MIRs/IRs, NCRs, and design observations; coordinate with Contractor/QA QC teams for timely resolution.
• Prepare snagging and de-snags, support handover, and maintain project documentation and as-built records.
