Job summary

Dar seeks a Senior Façade Engineer to lead design reviews, shop drawings, and technical submittals for complex façade systems on major projects in Abu Dhabi. You will coordinate with structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines on-site and ensure high-quality execution.

12+ years of façade experience, expertise in unitized and stick curtain walls, glazing, thermal and wind analyses, and adherence to ASTM/AAMA/CWCT standards are essential. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in façade engineering with multi-project exposure.
• Experience in shop drawings and technical submittals (structural calculations, thermal analysis, method statements).
• Experience in execution, site supervision, and quality control of façade installation.
• Coordination with main contractor and façade subcontractors.
• Experience with local codes and international standards (ASTM, AAMA, CWCT, EN, BS).

Responsibilities

• Review and approve shop drawings and structural calculations.
• Lead performance testing and mock-ups as required.
• Oversee on-site façade installation quality, alignment, and anchoring.
• Coordinate interfaces with structural, architectural and MEP teams.
• Monitor fabrication QA and conduct factory visits.
