Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Senior Architect - ID (Construction Supervision) to oversee architectural design implementation and on-site construction supervision, ensuring projects meet high standards of quality, safety and compliance.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with authorities, and ensure timely delivery while managing budgets and BIM documentation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in supervision of architectural works on large-scale Middle East projects.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale commercial and residential developments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site construction activities ensuring designs and specs are followed.
• Conduct site inspections and audits for codes, safety, UAE standards.
• Prepare and review drawings, specs, and BIM documents.
• Manage design issues and change orders with contractors and clients.
• Lead and mentor supervision teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Identify construction risks and propose mitigations.
• Maintain project records, logs, and compliance docs.
• Coordinate permits with local authorities.
• Proactively resolve delays and cost overruns.
