Qualifications

• Experience in sales engineering or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of application security concepts and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAST, SCA, DAST and AI-enabled security features.
• Ability to communicate technical value to developers, security teams and executives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Regional Sales Managers to develop technical sales strategies for new logos and customer growth.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover security requirements and strategic objectives.
• Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-value engagements.
• Position the value of Black Duck's portfolio in context of customer challenges.
• Design tailored solutions addressing security, compliance, and software development goals.
• Engage with technical teams and executives to accelerate decision-making.
• Collaborate with Sales to differentiate Black Duck in competitive opportunities.
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing customers.
