Job summary

Black Duck is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support customers across the United Arab Emirates, based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai with remote options. You will partner with Regional Sales Managers and Partner Sales Managers to drive new logo acquisition and expansion within existing accounts.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will help organizations understand, evaluate, and adopt modern application security solutions that reduce risk, accelerate software delivery, and strengthen security

Qualifications

Experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, or a similar customer-facing technical role in application security, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps.
Proven success supporting both new business acquisition and customer expansion with quota-carrying sales teams.
Strong understanding of application security concepts, software vulnerabilities, secure development practices, and security testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover business challenges, application security requirements, and strategic objectives.
Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-value engagements that articulate technical and business value.
Position and communicate the value of Black Duck's application security portfolio (SAST, SCA, DAST, AI-enabled) in customer-specific contexts.
Design tailored solutions addressing customer security, compliance, and software development objectives.
Engage with technical teams and executives to build consensus and accelerate decision-making.
Collaborate with Sales to differentiate Black Duck in opportunities and increase win rates.
