Job summary

EDGE Group is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Fabrication to design, optimize, and implement fabrication layouts and processes for aerospace composite production. You will plan production workflows, define equipment and resource needs, and validate prototype manufacturing methods to improve productivity and control costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical/Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably aerospace/composites.
• Experience with composite part industrialization from design to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize fabrication layouts and processes to boost productivity.
• Validate prototype processes, conduct time studies, verify MBOMs and readiness.
• Monitor KPIs for labour, equipment, quality; drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and quality to implement improvements.
