Job summary

Al Asayel Health & Safety FZE is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant (CPA/ACCA/CA) to manage day-to-day accounting, VAT filings, regulatory compliance and financial reporting in Dubai's Jebel Ali Free Zone. You will contribute to accurate and timely statements.

UAE experience, strong English communication, and SAP Business One proficiency are preferred for this role, which offers professional growth in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA, ACCA or CA certification.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT law, financial reporting and compliance.
• Experience with SAP Business One or similar accounting software.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including VAT filings and JAFZA submissions.
• Handle invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and data entry.
• Reconcile bank, customer and vendor accounts regularly, and verify transaction accuracy.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and help prepare for audits.
• Follow up with banks on existing and new financial matters.
• Maintain organized financial records and provide reporting support.
