Job summary

BD SELECT in Dubai seeks an experienced Accountant to manage and support the company's finance and administrative operations. The role requires hands-on accounting across the full cycle and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and administrative experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and VAT.
• SAP knowledge or hands-on experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in compliance with company policies and applicable standards.
• Manage full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles.
• Prepare and review invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, journal entries, and expense reports.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure proper filing, documentation, and record retention for audits and compliance.
• Handle VAT documentation, filings, and basic compliance in line with UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external consultants when required.
• Prepare management reports and provide administrative support as required.
• Ensure smooth coordination between finance and administrative functions.
