Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance. The role requires strong UAE VAT, Corporate Tax knowledge and the ability to work independently.

You will oversee month-end closing, reconciliations, and preparation of statements, while supporting audits and process improvements. Proficiency in SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks and advanced Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS and applying them to complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete accounting cycle including GL, AP, AR and fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and lead month-end/year-end close.
• Perform reconciliations for bank, supplier, customer, intercompany and GL; resolve discrepancies.
• Support UAE VAT calculations and UAE Corporate Tax compliance; liaise with FTA.
• Coordinate with auditors; provide schedules and responding to audit queries.
• Provide management with variance analyses, budgeting support and cash flow insights.
