The role will oversee accurate book closing, balance sheet substantiation and management reporting for multiple automotive business units. The Senior Accountant will improve Record to Report processes, review Trial Balance accounts and support external audits and financial statement preparation. Timely and reliable reporting will help management evaluate performance while ensuring compliance with Group Finance policies.
The Record to Report function ensures that automotive entities close their accounts correctly and provide management with dependable financial information. This position will coordinate monthly reporting activities, investigate account balances and maintain consistent accounting standards across local and overseas operations. By strengthening reconciliations, fixed asset controls and month-end procedures, the Senior Accountant will reduce reporting risks and help audits and management reviews proceed efficiently.
Candidates must hold a professional accounting qualification such as CPA or ACCA and have two to three years of relevant experience within a large organisation. The role requires a process-focused accountant with strong analytical ability and practical experience using ERP systems. Proficiency in SAP is important, while exposure to SAP BW and SAP BPC will be particularly valuable. Applicants should be able to prioritise competing deadlines, communicate financial information clearly and collaborate effectively with finance teams, overseas entities and external auditors.
