Job summary

Manpower Middle East seeks a meticulous Senior Accountant to join the client’s corporate finance team in Dubai. You will oversee full-scope accounting operations, ensuring IFRS compliance, and managing month-end and year-end closures, balance sheet integrity, and VAT processing.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of accounting experience, with 2–3 years in a senior role within the GCC/UAE, and strong ERP/Excel proficiency. English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2–3 years in a Senior Accountant role within GCC/UAE preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; professional qualification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-scope accounting operations and close processes (month-end, year-end).
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and UAE Corporate Tax documentation.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors and support audits.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
