Qualifications

• 5 years total experience, including 3+ years in UAE accounting
• Solid IFRS knowledge and UAE VAT/Corporate Tax understanding
• Experience in finalization and support during statutory audits
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Tally ERP; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics ERP a plus
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software/tools
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Marine industry experience is a plus
• Experience in leading/mentoring an accounting team

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily accounting operations, including reconciliations and month-end close
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations in all reporting
• Assist statutory audits with accurate financial statements and documentation
• Manage and mentor accounting professionals to foster accuracy and accountability
• Utilize Tally ERP and Microsoft Dynamics ERP to maintain financial systems
• Perform in-depth financial analysis and provide actionable insights
• Maintain meticulous records and data integrity across platforms
