Job summary

Damac Properties is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our real estate financial operations. You will manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, perform complex financial reporting, and ensure strict UAE tax compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed statements for management, filing UAE Corporate Tax and VAT returns via FTA portals, and coordinating with auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; ACCA/CMA/CPA preferred.
• At least 4 years of accounting experience in UAE real estate or construction.
• Must hold a transferable visa; strong Oracle ERP and advanced Excel skills.

Damac Properties is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our real estate financial operations. You will be responsible for accurate ledger management, complex financial reporting, and ensuring strict compliance with UAE tax regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all vendor and contractor payments are processed accurately.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for senior management review.
• Calculate and submit precise UAE Corporate Tax and quarterly VAT returns directly to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) portals.
• Reconcile complex bank statements, manage post-dated cheques (PDCs), and coordinate with external auditors during the annual financial review.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance. Professional certifications (ACCA, CMA, CPA) are highly preferred.
• Experience: At least 4 years of dedicated accounting experience within the UAE real estate or construction sector.
• Papers: Must hold a valid transferable visa and demonstrate high proficiency in Oracle ERP and advanced Excel.
