Job summary

Peergrowth in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the general ledger, monthly close, and financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS. You will coordinate with auditors, support budgeting, and drive ERP improvements.

The ideal candidate holds a US CPA with 5–7 years of multinational finance experience, and hands-on work with NetSuite, SAP or Oracle. Strong analytical and intercompany accounting skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce or related discipline.
US CPA is mandatory; audit firm experience preferred.
Approximately 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience in multinational, trading, energy or similar environments.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Manage the general ledger and ensure timely, accurate recording of transactions.
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities and prepare journal entries.
Prepare management accounts, balance sheet schedules and financial analysis.
Conduct reconciliations (bank, customer, supplier, intercompany and balance sheet).
Monitor AR/AP, review invoices, payment requests and supporting docs.
Assist cash flow monitoring, budgeting and forecasting; support ERP improvements.
Coordinate with external auditors; provide audit schedules and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting procedures.
Liaise with banks, customers, suppliers, auditors and tax consultants as required.
Provide support for monthly close, variance analysis and transfer pricing documentation.
