Job summary

Blue Diamond General Trading LLC in Dubai seeks a Senior Accountant with a strong real estate and construction background to oversee all financial operations, ensure IFRS compliance and provide accurate reporting to support strategic decisions.

You will manage day-to-day accounting (AP/AR/GL), monitor project costing and revenue recognition, coordinate external audits, develop internal controls, prepare budgets and forecasts, oversee cash flow across projects, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience in the construction industry with exposure to real estate projects.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and revenue recognition principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books or Oracle).
• Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience with VAT filing and UAE compliance.

Responsibilities
