Job summary

The role requires 5–7 years in accounting within the construction sector, proficiency in Zoho Books or Oracle, and excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills to support audits and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience in construction/real estate.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and revenue recognition.
• Proficiency with Zoho Books or Oracle and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• VAT filing and UAE compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and reconciliations.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and UAE tax/regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project costing, revenue recognition, and expense allocations.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors.
• Develop internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Oversee cash flow management and fund allocation across projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and procurement for accurate financial tracking.
• Mentor junior accounting staff.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with astrong background in real estate and proven experience in the constructionindustry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing thecompany’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards,and providing accurate financial reporting to support strategicdecision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-dayaccounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger,and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare, review, andanalyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
