Job summary

Frankly Built Contracting in Dubai is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day financial operations, prepare management accounts, budgets and cash flow analyses, and support project P&L reporting for construction projects in the UAE.

Key duties include month-end close, VAT filings, payroll processing and maintaining compliant financial records with UAE regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills are essential.
• Experience with project accounting and cost control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day financial operations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly Management Accounts / MIS reports.
• Prepare annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage monthly reconciliations for banks, customers, suppliers, intercompany and control accounts.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and cash flow reports.
• Monitor project costs, billings, variations and project cash flows.
• Prepare actual vs. budget analysis and monthly project cost forecasts.
• Support project P&L and Balance Sheet reporting.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, cash and petty cash.
• Payroll and WPS management.
• VAT return preparation, filing and FTA compliance.
• Corporate Tax compliance, calculations, filings and related FTA requirements.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation in line with UAE regulations.
• Support annual budgeting, overhead and cost control processes.
• Participate in projects from tender/bid stage through completion and final accounts.
• Prepare financial information for management, banks and financial institutions.
• Assist with financial audits, FTA requirements and other statutory/compliance matters.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses.

WE’RE HIRING | ACCOUNTANT – CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and financial reporting experience within the construction / fit-out industry, with hands‑on experience using Xero and good knowledge of UAE tax and payroll requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day financial operations
• Prepare monthly and quarterly Management Accounts / MIS reports
• Prepare annual financial statements and management reports
• Manage monthly reconciliations for banks, customers, suppliers, intercompany and control accounts
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and cash flow reports

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and FTA compliance
• Experience handling payroll and WPS
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of project P&L, cash flow and cost monitoring
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• UAE experience is preferred
