Job summary

Nova 401(k) Associates is seeking an experienced 401(k) plan administrator to join a national firm renowned for client focus. You will manage a book of business, advise on plan operation, and work with advisors and record-keepers to ensure client success.

The role demands five+ years of 401(k) administration, ADP/ACP, and testing knowledge. A professional credential (NIPA/ASPPA) or a 4-year degree is required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of 401(k) plan administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) testing.
• NIPA credential, ASPPA credential, or a 4-year college degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to proactively and independently manage a book of business.
• High level of critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client and advisor relationships with a high active client retention rate.
• Manage a caseload with approximately 50% split between ADP and Safe Harbor plans.
• Prioritize workload towards weekly goals in a results-oriented team environment.
• Consult with clients regarding plan operation and design.
• Work with other departments, record-keepers, and advisors to ensure a great client experience.
• Document all client interactions in the workflow management system.
• Perform work according to company policies and procedures.
• Expand professional knowledge through seminars and self-study.
