Job summary

SO/ Ras Al Khaimah seeks a capable Security Supervisor to lead the hotel security team, manage daily security operations, and coordinate incident response. You will oversee CCTV, access control, alarms, and emergency procedures while ensuring guest and staff safety in a luxury hospitality setting.

The role requires 3–5 years in security with at least 2 years in a supervisory position, strong leadership, crisis management, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in security management or related fields are a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably within hospitality or luxury industry.
• Proven leadership experience in guiding a security team and ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Ability to manage crises with calm and professionalism; lead during emergencies.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control and alarm systems and general security procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; report-writing and guest/staff interaction skills.
• Attention to detail with a proactive approach to security risks; follow-up on issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the security team, ensuring training, procedures, and high performance.
• Oversee daily security operations including CCTV, access control, and alarms for property safety.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances; investigate and report findings.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems; conduct regular patrols for risk detection.
• Maintain visible presence to ensure guest and staff safety; provide guidance as needed.
• Lead emergency response during evacuations, first-aid events, and fire drills.
• Provide on-the-job training and development for security personnel on procedures and best practices.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and prepare management reports.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk to secure all areas, including high-risk zones.
• Ensure security systems are functioning and coordinate repairs when needed.
• Ensure compliance with local security laws, company policies, and industry standards.

Job Description

• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the security team, ensuring all security personnel are well-trained, follow procedures, and perform their duties to the highest standard.
• Security Operations: Oversee the daily operations of security systems, including surveillance, access control, and alarm systems, to ensure the safety and security of the property.
• Incident Management: Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances. Investigate and document incidents, preparing reports and taking appropriate follow-up action.
• Monitoring & Surveillance: Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and conduct regular patrols to detect any potential security risks or breaches.
• Guest and Staff Safety: Maintain a visible presence on the property to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff. Provide assistance and guidance to both employees and guests when needed.
• Emergency Response: Lead emergency response procedures during evacuations, first-aid events, and fire drills, ensuring that all staff and guests adhere to safety protocols.
• Training & Development: Provide on-the-job training and guidance to security personnel to ensure they remain updated on procedures, emergency protocols, and best security practices.
• Incident Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of all security-related incidents, suspicious activities, and accidents, and prepare regular reports for management.
• Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with other departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk to ensure the security of all areas, particularly high-risk zones and special events.
• Security Systems Maintenance: Ensure that all security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) are functioning properly, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate department for repair.
• Compliance with Security Procedures: Ensure the property complies with all relevant local security laws and regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
