Job summary

SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, part of Accor, seeks a proactive Security Supervisor to lead and supervise the security team while ensuring the safety of guests and staff. You will manage daily security operations, monitor surveillance systems, and respond swiftly to incidents with thorough reporting.

You will oversee emergency drills, train staff, and coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk to keep all areas secure while upholding local regulations and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in security management or related fields are a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in hospitality or luxury.
• Leadership experience in managing a security team with high performance and protocol adherence.
• Crisis management ability to lead during emergencies with professionalism and calm.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarms, and security procedures.

Job Description

• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the security team, ensuring all security personnel are well-trained, follow procedures, and perform their duties to the highest standard.
• Security Operations: Oversee the daily operations of security systems, including surveillance, access control, and alarm systems, to ensure the safety and security of the property.
• Incident Management: Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances. Investigate and document incidents, preparing reports and taking appropriate follow-up action.
• Monitoring & Surveillance: Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and conduct regular patrols to detect any potential security risks or breaches.
• Guest and Staff Safety: Maintain a visible presence on the property to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff. Provide assistance and guidance to both employees and guests when needed.
• Emergency Response: Lead emergency response procedures during evacuations, first-aid events, and fire drills, ensuring that all staff and guests adhere to safety protocols.
• Training & Development: Provide on-the-job training and guidance to security personnel to ensure they remain updated on procedures, emergency protocols, and best security practices.
• Incident Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of all security-related incidents, suspicious activities, and accidents, and prepare regular reports for management.
• Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with other departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk to ensure the security of all areas, particularly high-risk zones and special events.
• Security Systems Maintenance: Ensure that all security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) are functioning properly, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate department for repair.
• Compliance with Security Procedures: Ensure the property complies with all relevant local security laws and regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications
