Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking a Security Officer to support the Security Managers in protecting members, guests, colleagues and the Club property. You will monitor, patrol and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service and upholding high security standards.

Responsibilities include access control, incident reporting, routine inspections, and coordination with authorities. The ideal candidate holds a SIRA license, at least 2 years in luxury hospitality security, and

Qualifications

• SIRA License orCertificate: This is a mandatory requirement for the role.
• Educational Background: Higher Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in security within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Communication Skills: Strong proficiency in English is essential, with additional languages desirable.
• First Aid and CPR: Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is considered advantageous.
• Professionalism: The ability to remain composed and maintain self-control during challenging situations.
• Customer Service: A focus on providing excellent service to both employees and members.
• Social Interaction: Ability to engage and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Personal Responsibility: A proactive attitude with the ability to take responsibility for one’s actions.

Responsibilities

• Manage entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors have access to restricted areas.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances.
• Take appropriate action to handle incidents such as theft, trespassing, or other security violations.
• Provide first aid or assist during medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches.
• Prepare and submit incident reports to management and law enforcement when necessary.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to security and safety.
• Assist members, their guests and the Artisans by providing directions and information.
• Address inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Deter potential security threats through visible presence and vigilance.
• Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services when required.
• Assist in investigations of security breaches or criminal activities on the premises.

The Arts Club Dubai unveils an amazing opportunity for a talented artisan to join our passionate and creative team. A Security Officer will be supporting the Security Managers with ensuring the safety and protection of members, guests, colleagues and the property at all times, and following the policies and procedures to maintain highest security and well-being standards within the Club. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for monitoring, patrolling, and responding to security incidents, while maintaining a professional demeanor and delivering exceptional customer service.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
