Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking a Security Officer to support Security Managers in protecting members, guests, colleagues and property. You will monitor, patrol, respond to incidents and maintain high security and wellbeing standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include managing access, verifying IDs, responding to alarms, attending to emergencies, and preparing incident reports.

Qualifications

• SIRA License or Certificate is a mandatory requirement for the role.
• Higher Secondary Education or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of security experience in luxury hospitality.
• Fluent English; other languages desirable.
• First aid and CPR knowledge is advantageous.
• Professionalism and composure under pressure.
• Customer service focus for staff and members.
• Ability to engage with diverse people at different social levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage entry and exit points to allow access only to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Verify IDs and credentials for entrants.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and disturbances.
• Handle incidents such as theft or trespassing with appropriate action.
• Provide first aid during medical emergencies until professionals arrive.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents and breaches.
• Submit incident reports to management and law enforcement when necessary.
• Conduct routine safety inspections to identify hazards.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and legal requirements.
• Assist members and guests with directions and information.
• Address inquiries in a professional, courteous manner.
• Deter security threats through visible presence and vigilance.
• Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as required.
• Assist investigations of security breaches or criminal activities on premises.

The Arts Club Dubai unveils an amazing opportunity for a talented artisan to join our passionate and creative team A Security Officer will be supporting the Security Managers with ensuring the safety and protection of members guests colleagues and the property at all times and following the policies and procedures to maintain highest security and well-being standards within the Club The ideal candidate will also be responsible for monitoring patrolling and responding to security incidents while maintaining a professional demeanor and delivering exceptional customer service

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Your main duties and responsibilities are

• Manage entry and exit points ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors have access to restricted areas
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises
• Respond promptly to alarms emergencies and disturbances
• Take appropriate action to handle incidents such as theft trespassing or other security violations
• Provide first aid or assist during medical emergencies until professional help arrives
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities incidents and security breaches
• Prepare and submit incident reports to management and law enforcement when necessary
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards
• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and legal requirements related to security and safety
• Assist members their guests and the Artisans by providing directions and information
• Address inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

• SIRA License or Certificate : This is a mandatory requirement for the role.
• Educational Background : Candidates should possess a Higher Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Experience : A minimum of 2 years of experience in security within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Communication Skills : Strong proficiency in English is essential, with additional languages being desirable.
• First Aid and CPR : Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is considered advantageous.
• Professionalism : The ability to remain composed and maintain self-control during challenging situations.
