Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking a Security Officer to support the Security Managers in protecting members, guests and staff while upholding club policies. You will monitor, patrol, and respond to incidents, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high safety standards.

The role requires a SIRA license, at least 2 years in luxury hospitality security, and strong English communication. Professionalism and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this environment.

Qualifications

• SIRA license or certificate is mandatory for the role.
• Higher secondary education or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of security experience in luxury hospitality.
• Strong English communication; other languages desirable.
• First aid and CPR knowledge is advantageous.
• Maintain composure, professionalism and customer service focus.
• Ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage entry and exit points, granting access to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and disturbances.
• Take action to handle theft, trespassing or other security violations.
• Provide first aid or assist during medical emergencies until help arrives.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and breaches.
• Prepare and submit incident reports to management and authorities when necessary.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and legal requirements.
• Assist members, guests and artisans with directions and information.
• Address inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Deter threats through visible presence and vigilance.
• Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services when required.
• Assist in investigations of security breaches or criminal activities on the premises.

Security Officer

will be supporting the Security Managers with ensuring the safety and protection of members guests colleagues and the property at all times and following the policies and procedures to maintain highest security and well-being standards within the Club The ideal candidate will also be responsible for monitoring patrolling and responding to security incidents while maintaining a professional demeanor and delivering exceptional customer service

WHAT WILL YOU DO

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• SIRA License or Certificate: This is a mandatory requirement for the role
• Educational Background: Candidates should possess a Higher Secondary Education or equivalent
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in security within the luxury hospitality industry
• Communication Skills: Strong proficiency in English is essential with additional languages being desirable
• First Aid and CPR: Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is considered advantageous
• Professionalism: The ability to remain composed and maintain self-control during challenging situations
• Customer Service: A focus on providing excellent service to both employees and members
• Social Interaction: Ability to engage and communicate effectively with people at different social levels and with diverse backgrounds
