Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai, located in DIFC, is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to support the Security Managers in protecting members, guests and property at all times. You will monitor, patrol, respond to incidents, and uphold high security and safety standards with professional, attentive service.

Requirements include a valid SIRA license, Higher Secondary Education, and a minimum of 2 years in security within luxury hospitality.

Qualifications

• SIRA License is mandatory.
• Higher Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of security experience in luxury hospitality.
• Strong English communication; additional languages desirable.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR advantageous.
• Professionalism and ability to stay composed during challenging situations.
• Focus on excellent customer service to both employees and members.
• Ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and social levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized personnel access.
• Verify identification and credentials of entrants.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies and disturbances.
• Handle incidents such as theft or trespassing with appropriate action.
• Provide first aid or assist during medical emergencies.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents.
• Submit incident reports to management and authorities when necessary.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and legal requirements.
• Assist members and guests with directions and information.
• Address inquiries professionally and courteously.
• Deter threats through visibility and vigilance.
• Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services.
• Assist investigations of security breaches on the premises.

The Arts Club Dubai unveils an amazing opportunity for a talented artisan to join our passionate and creative team. A Security Officer will be supporting the Security Managers with ensuring the safety and protection of members, guests, colleagues and the property at all times, and following the policies and procedures to maintain highest security and well-being standards within the Club. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for monitoring, patrolling, and responding to security incidents, while maintaining a professional demeanor and delivering exceptional customer service.

What Will You Do

Your main duties and responsibilities are:

• Manage entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors have access to restricted areas.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances.
• Take appropriate action to handle incidents such as theft, trespassing, or other security violations.
• Provide first aid or assist during medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches.
• Prepare and submit incident reports to management and law enforcement when necessary.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to security and safety.
• Assist members, their guests and the Artisans by providing directions and information.
• Address inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Deter potential security threats through visible presence and vigilance.
• Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services when required.
• Assist in investigations of security breaches or criminal activities on the premises.

What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

• SIRA License or Certificate: This is a mandatory requirement for the role.
• Educational Background: Candidates should possess a Higher Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in security within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Communication Skills: Strong proficiency in English is essential, with additional languages being desirable.
• First Aid and CPR: Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is considered advantageous.
• Professionalism: The ability to remain composed and maintain self-control during challenging situations.
• Customer Service: A focus on providing excellent service to both employees and members.
