Job summary

The Arts Club Dubai, located in DIFC, seeks a Barback to support the smooth running of Bar service under the guidance of senior team members, ensuring guests receive the highest level of experience.

You will assist with beverage preparation, help develop cocktails, maintain stock and standards, and handle routine issues with professionalism. Minimum 2 years in luxury hospitality and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining setting.
• Internationally recognized professional certification.
• Excellent level of English, written and spoken.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver beverages to members and guests following the department Standard Operating Procedures.
• Participate in creating new cocktails and assist with developing drink list for the Bar menu.
• Ensure the efficient, consistent flow of service and standards are constantly met during service periods.
• Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure that all the Bar equipment and any other objects needed for service are prepared and available.
• Be efficient in keeping beverage wastage to a minimum and ensuring stock under your responsibility is secure.
• Monitor the daily checklist and ensure all opening and closing duties are completed.

What Will You Do

Your main duties and responsibilities are:
