Job summary

Al Ghurair Asset Management LLC is seeking a Security Manager to oversee security operations across residential, commercial, retail, warehouses and mall properties in Dubai. You will develop, implement and maintain security policies in compliance with UAE regulations and international best practices.

Lead a team, conduct audits and risk assessments, manage CCTV, access control and alarm systems, and liaise with Dubai Police and SIRA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of proven managerial experience in security operations.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE security standards, regulations and licensing bodies (e.g. SIRA).
• Strong leadership, team management and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication in English; Arabic is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

Job description

As the Security Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all security operations ensuring the protection of company assets personnel and properties across various sectors. You will develop implement and maintain security policies and procedures in compliance with UAE regulations and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop implement and manage comprehensive security strategies policies and procedures for residential commercial retail warehouses and shopping mall properties.
• Lead train and supervise a team of security personnel ensuring high standards of performance and adherence to protocols.
• Conduct regular security audits risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and implement mitigation measures.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security systems including CCTV access control alarm systems and other relevant technologies.
• Respond to and manage security incidents emergencies and investigations ensuring timely reporting and resolution.
• Liaise effectively with local law enforcement agencies emergency services and relevant government authorities (e.g. Dubai Police SIRA Civil Defense).
• Ensure full compliance with all UAE emirates security standards regulations and licensing requirements.
• Manage security budgets resources and vendor relationships efficiently.
• Provide regular reports on security performance incidents and recommendations to senior management.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of proven managerial experience in security operations specifically managing diverse properties such as Residential Commercial Retail Warehouses and Shopping Malls.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and practical experience with all UAE emirates security standards regulations and licensing bodies (e.g. SIRA DPS).
• Leadership: Strong leadership team management and motivational skills.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in security technologies (CCTV access control alarm systems) and MS Office Suite.
• Certifications: Relevant security certifications (e.g. SIRA license for Security Managers) are highly preferred.
• Attributes: High level of integrity professionalism and ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
