Job summary

Tanqeeb in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, seeks a logistics professional with a focus on freight forwarding to manage shipment updates, document checks, and payment timelines. The role involves coordinating pre-alerts, clearance documents, and customs inspections to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in logistics (or related field) and at least two years of UAE experience in freight forwarding, with proficiency in Cargowise considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or any field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the freight forwarding industry in the UAE (preferably in import).
• Proficiency in Cargowise is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• The updates for all the shipments assigned to operations are sent on daily basis with ETA/transshipment.
• Cross check the pre-alert documents received.
• Follow the timelines for payment request.
• Delivery order for the shipment is released 1 day prior to the arrival on receipt of original bill of lading from the customer.
• For clearance and delivery jobs, documents are collected before arrival of the shipment.
• Any customs inspection, to be booked and arranged with the required documents.
• Regular follow up on calls should be done with the customer.
