Job summary

LEAMS Education in Dubai is seeking a Physics Lab Assistant – Science Laboratory to support the safe, organized operation of the school's physics lab. You will prepare apparatus and materials for practical lessons, assist teachers and students during experiments, and help maintain laboratory equipment and inventories.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor's in Physics or related field, prior school lab experience, strong attention to safety, and good teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Physics, Science, or Laboratory Technology.
• Experience as Physics Lab Assistant or Laboratory Technician preferred.
• Experience in a school environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare physics lab equipment, apparatus, materials, and other resources for practical lessons.
• Set up experiments in advance according to teacher instructions.
• Arrange workstations to enable efficient practical activities.
• Assist teachers during demonstrations and experiments.
• Support students during physics experiments and practical tasks.
• Ensure safe handling of laboratory apparatus and safety compliance.
