Job summary

LEAMS Education Services (Gamma Holdings Ltd.) is seeking a qualified Physics Lab Assistant to support the safe operation of the school’s Physics laboratory. You will prepare materials, maintain equipment, and assist teachers and students during practical sessions.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field, familiarity with lab safety, and experience in inventory and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
• Prior experience as Physics Lab Assistant, Laboratory Technician, or Science Lab Technician in a school or educational setting.
• Good knowledge of Physics lab equipment, apparatus, experiments, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange lab equipment, apparatus, materials for Physics lessons and experiments.
• Assist teachers in setting up demonstrations and experiments.
• Support students during lab sessions and ensure safe equipment use.
• Conduct regular checks of equipment and report damaged or malfunctioning items.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment of materials and consumables.
• Ensure the lab is clean, organized, and prepared before/after sessions.
• Support teachers in preparing practical activities and examination requirements.
• Collaborate with Physics teachers and science staff to ensure smooth lab operations.
• Carry out any other lab-related duties assigned by management.
