Job summary

LEAMS Education is seeking a School Lab Assistant – Science Support in Dubai to maintain safe, well-equipped laboratories and assist teachers during practical science sessions.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Science with knowledge of laboratory safety and chemical handling, plus strong organizational and communication skills. You will also help manage inventory and support student activities with care.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Science or related field.
• Experience in a school or educational laboratory preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and chemical handling.
• Ability to maintain stock, records and safety logs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare chemicals, specimens and materials for science experiments.
• Set up laboratory workstations before practical lessons.
• Assist teachers during laboratory demonstrations and student experiments.
• Ensure safe use of laboratory equipment and materials.
• Maintain inventory and safety records for laboratory supplies.
• Dispose of laboratory waste according to safety standards.
• Support bus guardian duties and student supervision when required.
• Coordinate with academic and administrative teams for lab needs.
