The Role

A leading consulting organisation in the UAE is looking for an experienced S/4HANA Programme Director to lead major SAP transformation programmes across the GCC.

This is a senior client-facing leadership position, responsible for overall programme delivery, executive stakeholder management, commercial performance and leadership of large, multi-disciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record delivering complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes, ideally within large enterprises across the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall accountability for the successful delivery of major SAP S/4HANA programmes.
• Lead complex end-to-end transformations, from strategy and design through implementation, deployment and stabilisation.
• Act as the senior point of contact for C-suite and executive stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and identify opportunities to expand the consulting relationship.
• Lead and develop large programme teams across functional, technical and business workstreams.
• Manage systems integrators, subcontractors and strategic delivery partners.
• Own programme governance, delivery methodology, risks, dependencies, budgets and timelines.
• Ensure programmes meet agreed commercial, quality and delivery objectives.
• Provide executive-level reporting and steerage to client leadership and internal management.
• Support business development, proposals and new SAP transformation opportunities across the GCC.
• Contribute to the growth of the firm's SAP S/4HANA consulting practice.

Experience Required

• Significant experience leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA programmes.
• Proven experience at Programme Director, Programme Lead, Delivery Director or equivalent level.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA transformation and enterprise business processes.
• Experience managing large, multi-country and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial and financial management experience.
• Proven ability to manage senior client stakeholders and C-suite relationships.
• Experience managing global systems integrators and multiple delivery partners.
• Strong programme governance, risk and dependency management capabilities.
• Previous consulting experience within a major SAP consultancy or systems integrator.
• Experience delivering programmes within the GCC/Middle East is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel across the region as required.

Desirable

• SAP S/4HANA certification.
• Experience with RISE with SAP and/or SAP Cloud transformation.
• Experience across multiple SAP modules and integration technologies.
• Experience in sectors such as government, manufacturing, aerospace & defence, energy, utilities or financial services.
• Existing relationships with senior SAP and business stakeholders across the GCC.
• Arabic language skills would be advantageous.
