Job summary

Strike IT Recruitment Services is seeking a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer in Dubai to lead and implement large-scale SFMC migrations and enhancements. You will deliver highly personalised customer journeys, manage data assets and integrations, and drive automation across Marketing Cloud components.

The role requires hands-on development and testing, with 5+ years SFMC experience and strong knowledge of Journey Builder, Automation Studio and data models.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess existing SFMC journeys, automations, email assets, Data Extensions, SQL queries, scripts and integrations impacted by the migration.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
• Develop and redevelop sophisticated, highly personalised email communications within SFMC.
• Build, configure and optimise customer journeys using Journey Builder.
• Develop and maintain complex workflows and data processes within Automation Studio.
• Build responsive email templates and components using HTML and CSS.
• Develop and support integrations using REST APIs and third-party systems.
• Design and implement data validation, transformation and enrichment processes.
• Work with complex customer data structures, formats and business rules.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues, integration failures, automation errors and processing exceptions.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned with the wider SFMC architecture.
• Complete developer testing and support system testing and UAT, including defect resolution.
• Support release planning, deployments, production validation and post-release troubleshooting.
• Maintain clear technical documentation, configuration records and handover documentation.
• Provide regular progress updates and proactively manage technical risks, dependencies and blockers.

Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer (SFMC)

Location: Dubai, UAE – 5 days onsite

Contract: 12 months initially, with renewal option

Start: ASAP / Immediate availability preferred

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer to join a major digital transformation and customer communications programme for a leading organisation based in Dubai.

This is a hands-on development role supporting the migration and redevelopment of a large-scale automated customer communications ecosystem following significant changes to the organisation's loyalty platform and product proposition.

The SFMC environment is highly complex and operates at significant scale, with thousands of marketing and data automations and 50+ automated customer journeys, delivering highly personalised one-to-one communications.

The successful candidate will join an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud team and will be responsible for developing, testing, deploying and supporting sophisticated automated customer communications.

Highly Desirable

• Experience working on loyalty, CRM or customer engagement programmes.
• Experience with high-volume, highly personalised B2C customer communications.
• Experience migrating or redeveloping complex SFMC journeys and automations.
• Previous experience within airlines, travel, hospitality, retail, eCommerce or other large‑scale consumer environments.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications would be advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a major enterprise transformation programme working within a sophisticated Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment.

The role is an initial 12-month contract with the potential for renewal and requires candidates to work onsite in Dubai 5 days per week.
