Position Overview
The Sales Manager - MICE and Corporate in Dubai, United Arab Emirates will drive revenue growth across corporate accounts, meetings, incentives, conferences and events. The role focuses on new business acquisition, strategic account development, commercial negotiations and conversion of MICE and corporate opportunities while building long-term relationships with decision-makers, event planners, travel management companies and business partners.
- Develop and implement sales strategies designed to grow revenue from MICE and Corporate segments.
- Identify, prospect and secure new corporate accounts, conference planners, event organizers, travel management companies and other potential business partners.
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across local and international markets.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, presentations, hotel site inspections and familiarization visits.
- Prepare competitive proposals, quotations, corporate agreements and negotiated rates in accordance with the hotel 's commercial strategy.
- Manage MICE and corporate enquiries professionally and provide timely follow-up to improve conversion opportunities.
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, exhibitions, sales missions and other relevant business development activities.
- Identify opportunities that support the hotel 's rooms, events and overall revenue objectives.
Key Account Management
- Develop existing key accounts to increase room nights, meetings, events and total revenue contribution.
- Maintain regular contact with decision-makers and key stakeholders while reviewing account performance and identifying opportunities for further business.
- Conduct regular account reviews and evaluate production.
- Maintain accurate client profiles, sales activities and opportunity records.
- Track account production within the hotel 's CRM or sales system.
- Negotiate commercial agreements within approved guidelines.
- Ensure contracted rates and credit arrangements comply with hotel policies.
- Maintain productive, long-term relationships with assigned corporate and MICE accounts.
Commercial and Market Focus
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, emerging business developments and changing client requirements.
- Use market intelligence to identify potential revenue opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, account production reports and other required commercial information.
- Apply strong commercial awareness when evaluating and converting prospective business.
- Support achievement of agreed sales and revenue targets through structured account development and business acquisition.
Cross-Department Coordination
Work closely with Revenue, Reservations, Events, Banquets, Front Office and other operational departments to ensure confirmed business is communicated accurately and delivered smoothly. The Sales Manager will collaborate with the wider Sales and Marketing team while remaining capable of independently managing assigned accounts, prospecting activity and commercial priorities. Additional sales responsibilities may be assigned by the Director of Sales or hotel management.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor 's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hotel sales experience.
- At least 1-2 years of experience managing MICE or Corporate accounts in a similar role.
- Previous experience within the Dubai or UAE hospitality market is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of MICE, Corporate, Groups, Meetings and Events, and hotel room sales segments.
- An established UAE network of corporate clients, event planners, travel management companies and business partners is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts, negotiate commercial agreements and achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of hotel sales, account management, business development and market analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify and convert revenue opportunities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Sales and Marketing and operational teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with hotel PMS, CRM and sales systems is preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
