• 10 years of experience in the market.

Responsibilities

• Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
• Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.
• Forecast sales predictions and shifts in the marketplace, both on a national scale and also for the individual regions under the Sales Director's charge.
• Oversee regional and local sales staff.
• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Identify valuable emerging markets.
• Serve as a business representative at major medical events, conferences, tradeshows, and congresses.
• Maximize the company profit
• Foresee and avoid stagnation in the marketplace
• Forecast future sales and form sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace.
• Identify and acquire the best talent possible for the company
• Maintain close trusting relationships with their staff and facilitate open communication with them.
• Oversee and manage a large team of Sales Managers, typically spanning a wide geographical area.
• Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
• Identify the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
