Job summary

Transmed in the United Arab Emirates seeks a proactive sales professional to develop the foodservice business, targeting new and existing customers across the Foodservice channel to achieve set sales targets.

Key duties include acquiring new customers, closing deals, and building strong relationships with decision makers, while coordinating with Logistics and Customer Service to maintain high service levels. Strong product knowledge and credit terms management are essential for sustained growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or related field.
• 1-3 years' experience in FMCG or hospitality industry, preferably in Sales related roles, or a completed internship in Sales & Marketing

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new customers within assigned area to grow the customer base.
• Close deals and contracts with new customers to meet targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, especially decision makers, and ensure high service levels.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Customer Service to secure timely deliveries and favorable terms.
• Promote products with strong product knowledge to advise customers effectively.
• Manage receivables within agreed payment terms to support cash flow.

Key accountabilities

New customers

• Seek new customers with the assigned area to develop the customer base.
• Close deals and contracts with new customers

Building business with customers and distribution

• Use the company's products to offer customers solutions to their needs
• Maximize the number of products purchased by customers to maximize sales results
• Develop and conduct ideas, plans and activities that will contribute to sales growth

Managing customer relationships

• Build and maintain a strong relationship and partnership with customers especially with decision makers
• Provide customers with superior customer service levels to gain their loyalty and sustain long term business relationships.
• Collaborate with Logistics and Customer Service to ensure high service levels
• Develop and maintain strong product know-how to be able to advise and convince customers through technical knowledge

Receivables and collection

• Ensure that all receivables and collections are within the agreed payment / credit terms to sustain the company's cash flow levels.
