Job summary

SEA KINGS UNIVERSAL FZC LLC based in Dubai is seeking a Business Development Executive to identify new business opportunities in logistics. The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with clients, ensure excellent customer satisfaction, and achieve sales targets.

Applicants should have a degree in Logistics or related field, with 2–8 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics. Knowledge of international freight processes and fluency in English are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics and freight forwarding.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Understand client needs and propose effective transport and logistics solutions.
• Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Keep track of market trends, pricing, and competitors to stay ahead.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and after‑sales support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–8 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or supply chain services.
• Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding, including air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and cross‑border logistics.
• Good understanding of Incoterms, shipping documentation, import/export procedures, and pricing structures.
• Existing customer network and business contacts within the UAE market is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and capable of working independently to achieve sales goals.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify customer requirements and provide suitable logistics solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
• Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, or other regional languages is an added advantage.
