Job summary

Aspire Mechanical & Electrical Services LLC in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Sales Engineer to drive new business opportunities and manage customer relationships for structural steel and metal products. You will prepare quotations, follow up inquiries, and work toward monthly and annual sales targets while coordinating with suppliers, operations, and logistics.

You will understand customer requirements, recommend suitable products, and negotiate terms.

Responsibilities

• Generate new sales enquiries and develop new customers in construction, fabrication, oil & gas, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable steel and metal products.
• Prepare and submit quotations for structural steel materials.
• Follow up on quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing teams to obtain competitive prices and material availability.
• Identify suitable suppliers for MS, GI, SS, aluminum, and other metal products.
• Monitor market prices and competitors to maintain competitive pricing.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely material delivery.
• Follow up on customer payments and outstanding receivables.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records of enquiries, quotations, orders, sales activities, and customer information.
• Visit customers, project sites, contractors, fabricators, and industrial companies to generate business opportunities.
• Prepare regular sales reports and update management on sales performance and market opportunities.

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, preparing quotations, following up on enquiries, and achieving sales targets for structural steel and metal products.

Required Skills

• Ability to calculate material weight and prepare quotations.
• Knowledge of the UAE steel and construction market is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in structural steel trading, steel stockholding, metal trading, construction materials, or industrial material sales is preferred.
