Job summary

Auriga Gulf in Dubai seeks a Sales Engineer – Pipe Mill Commercial to drive the commercial and sales aspects of pipe manufacturing projects across UAE. The role includes fieldwork, client meetings, and site visits, promoting HSAW pipe & coating solutions to contractors, EPCs, fabricators, and industrial buyers.

You will serve as the technical interface between customers and internal teams, preparing proposals, reviewing specifications, and supporting tender submissions to ensure technically

Qualifications

• Diploma or engineering degree or equivalent sales experience in pipes.
• 2–5 years of GCC sales experience in pipes/coating/fittings.
• Good understanding of pipe and coating specifications.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand project requirements and recommend suitable piping and infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, project owners, and end-users.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
• Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and project review sessions.
• Review customer specifications, tender documents, and engineering requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, BOQs, and cost estimates.
• Support tender submissions and pre-qualification documentation.
• Ensure all proposals comply with applicable project specifications and standards.
• Read, interpret, and analyze engineering drawings, P&IDs, piping layouts, GA drawings, and isometrics.
• Utilize AutoCAD for reviewing and understanding project drawings and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure technical accuracy.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the HSAW pipe & Coating segment.
• Promote and sell pipe & coating to EPCs, contractors, fabricators, and industrial buyers.
• Prepare technical and commercial offers, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts and distributors.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and technical teams for timely delivery.

The candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling HSAW pipe & Coating (3LPP, 3LPE , FBE & LE, as applicable) to contractors, EPCs, fabricators, and industrial clients across UAE and surrounding regions.pipeline infrastructure. Requirements

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgy, or related field (or equivalent sales experience in pipes).
• 2–5 years of sales experience in pipes/coating/fittings or related industrial products in the GCC (UAE preferred).
• Strong understanding of pipe & coating specifications, standards, and applications.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
• Technical/Engineering Sales of piping systems, valves, fittings, HDPE pipes, ductile iron pipes, steel pipes, or related products; ORo Pipeline Infrastructure Projects involving site execution, project coordination, estimation, planning, or engineering support functions.

Mandatory Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of piping systems, pipeline infrastructure, and related engineering applications.
