Job summary

Trimble Inc is seeking a Sales Engineer (BIM & Engineering Specialist) to drive digital transformation in the Egypt construction market. Based onsite in Cairo, you will demo Trimble solutions, deliver PoCs, and support regional events.

You must have 3–5 years in construction design/fabrication, Tekla Structures expertise, and strong English and Arabic fluency. Travel up to 30% may be required. Join a team shaping BIM workflows and cloud collaboration across AECO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years in construction design, detailing or fabrication management.
• Expert proficiency with Tekla Structures.
• At least 2 years in a technical sales or application engineer role in construction tech.
• Fluent English and proficiency in Arabic are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations of the Trimble product suite.
• Deliver tailored PoC presentations and technical validation for engineering challenges.
• Represent Trimble as a technical SME at regional trade shows and events.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to build technical win strategies and datasets.
• Communicate regional market trends and product feedback to product management.

Key Exciting Responsibilities:

• Lead technical demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations of the Trimble product suite to potential and existing customers.
• Deliver tailored Proof of Concept (PoC) presentations and technical validation to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Represent Trimble as a technical subject matter expert at regional trade shows, roadshows, and industry events.
• Partner with sales and marketing teams to build technical "win" strategies and design localized demo datasets.
• Communicate regional market trends and product feedback directly to product management teams to guide localization.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of construction industry experience, specifically in design, detailing, or fabrication management.
• Expert proficiency with Tekla Structures (is a must)
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical sales or application engineer role within construction technology.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts fluently in English.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English is mandatory

Bonus Points For:

• Hands-on experience with Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla PowerFab, or Trimble Connect.
• Deep understanding of BIM execution plans and modern cloud collaboration trends.
