Job summary

Excellent opportunity Placements( Fostering Gender Equality and Diversity in the Workplace) seeks a Sales Engineer for Oil & Gas, heavy fabrication, and fabricated steel structures in Sharjah, UAE. You will develop relationships with EPCs, contractors, operators, and other stakeholders.

You will drive sales for heavy fabricated steel structures, prepare quotations, and coordinate with Estimation and Engineering teams while traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of UAE experience in Sales/Business Development.
• Experience in Oil & Gas and heavy fabrication.
• Experience working with a fabrication unit.
• Strong knowledge of fabricated steel structures including pressure vessels, storage tanks, skids, piping spools, platforms, and structural works.
• Proven sales/business development within Oil & Gas, EPC or contracting sector.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and business development for heavy fabricated steel structures.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within Oil & Gas and Water Treatment sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with Operators, EPCs, Contractors, Procurement Teams, Engineers, and Project Managers.
• Promote and sell fabricated products including pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping spools, platforms, and structural works.
• Prepare quotations, bids, proposals, and presentations in coordination with Estimation and Engineering teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close sales opportunities.
• Travel frequently to client and project sites.

Sales Engineer – Oil & Gas | Heavy Fabrication

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in Oil & Gas, heavy fabrication, and fabricated steel structures to join a leading organization based in Sharjah, UAE.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge combined with proven sales and business development skills, with the ability to develop relationships with EPCs, contractors, operators, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and business development for heavy fabricated steel structures.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas and Water Treatment sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with Operators, EPCs, Contractors, Procurement Teams, Engineers, and Project Managers.
• Promote and sell fabricated products including:
• Pressure Vessels
• Storage Tanks
• Piping Spools
• Platforms
• Structural Works
• Understand customer requirements, technical specifications, and drawings.
• Prepare quotations, bids, proposals, and presentations in coordination with Estimation and Engineering teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close sales opportunities.
• Develop new accounts and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and Project teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Travel frequently to client and project sites as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of UAE experience in Sales/Business Development.
• Experience in Oil & Gas and heavy fabrication.
• Experience working with a fabrication unit is required.
• Strong knowledge of fabricated steel structures such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, skids, piping spools, platforms, and structural works.
• Proven sales/business development experience within the Oil & Gas, EPC, or contracting sector.
• Engineering/Mechanical Engineering background is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Candidates must be currently based in the UAE.
• Willingness to travel frequently to client/site locations.
• Hindi/Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
