Job summary

Al Sahraa Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our industrial products team. The ideal candidate will handle welding, lifting, safety, abrasives, and related products, building strong customer relationships and driving new business.

You should have at least 2 years in sales, UAE/Abu Dhabi region experience, and familiarity with ADNOC/NPCC projects. Welding sales knowledge and ERP/MS Office proficiency are highly valued; driving license preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant sales experience.
• Prior work experience in the Abu Dhabi region is required.
• Experience working with or supporting ADNOC and/or NPCC projects is highly preferred.
• Experience in industrial products / engineering supplies is preferred.
• Welding Sales Engineer experience is highly preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of welding equipment, consumables, and related products.
• Proven track record in B2B sales and business development.
• Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.
• Ability to identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP/Sales systems.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote industrial products including Welding, Lifting, Safety, Abrasives, Hand Tools, and related products
• Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Conduct regular customer and project site visits
• Prepare quotations, follow up, negotiate, and close orders
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
• Provide technical assistance and product recommendations to customers
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing
• Identify new projects, customers, dealers, and business opportunities
• Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, and follow-ups in ERP systems
• Follow up on payments and ensure collections within approved credit terms
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery

About The Role
