Job summary

Careers International in Dubai is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to monitor daily site safety activities, enforce HSE policies, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations on high-rise and villa projects. The role requires hands-on safety management, toolbox talks, and collaboration with site engineers.

You will lead safety inspections, coordinate with supervisors and maintain daily safety reports, aiming to reduce incidents and promote a safe work culture across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Safety Supervisor in construction projects.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, residential, and villa projects preferred.
• Good knowledge of construction safety practices and site procedures.
• HSE certification (IOSH / OSHA / NEBOSH) is preferred.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• UAE construction experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily construction activities to ensure safe work practices.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Ensure PPE compliance and safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers.
• Monitor work areas, equipment and tools for safety compliance.
• Ensure safe execution of lifting, excavation, scaffolding, and working at height.
• Report unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist HSE Officers in implementing safety procedures and site safety plans.
• Monitor compliance with risk assessments and method statements.
• Maintain safety inspection records and daily safety reports.
• Support incident reporting and investigation activities.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers to improve workplace safety.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at site.
