Job summary

GINCO Cont. Co. LLC is hiring a Safety Officer to oversee site safety in civil construction projects in the UAE. The role requires proactive safety supervision, hazard identification and clear communication with on-site teams.

You will conduct toolbox talks, monitor permit-to-work processes, and support investigations into any incidents or near misses. A Diploma or HSE certification and UAE/GCC experience are preferred to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years UAE/GCC experience as Safety Officer in civil construction.
• Basic safety certification such as IOSH or equivalent is preferred.
• Working knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and site safety practices.
• Strong observational and reporting skills.
• Diploma or relevant HSE certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Monitor permit-to-work compliance and safe work method statements.
• Report unsafe conditions, near misses and incidents promptly.
• Support incident investigations and corrective action tracking.
• Maintain safety signage, PPE compliance and site housekeeping.
